Privacy Policy for MyRobotTime Remote Controller
Effective Date: 1 Juli 2025
MyRobotTime built the MyRobotTime Remote Controller app as a free tool to support students in robot soccer competitions. This service is provided by MyRobotTime and is intended for use as is.
The app functions solely as a remote control for educational robot kits built by students aged 10–18. These robots are constructed using brick-based mechanical parts and utilize DC motors, Arduino ESP32 microcontrollers, and are operated via Bluetooth, Infrared, or cloud-based networks.
The app does not serve any commercial or surveillance purpose. It is exclusively designed for academic, educational, and competition use.
1. Information Collection and Use
We do not collect any personally identifiable information from users.
Our application is designed solely as a remote control interface for educational robot soccer competitions. No user login, account registration, or personal data collection is required.
However, the app may request access to the following hardware features:
- Bluetooth: Used to connect to robots that support Bluetooth.
- Infrared (IR): Used to control robots via infrared signals.
- Internet connection (optional): May be used to send commands through cloud network connections to robots with ESP32 WiFi modules.
2. Children’s Privacy
Our app is designed for students aged 10–18 and does not collect any personal data. As such, we comply with child privacy protection laws (such as COPPA) by design, as no data is collected, stored, or transmitted.
3. Data Security
Since we do not collect or transmit any user data, there is no risk of personal information being shared or leaked. All controls are managed locally through Bluetooth, Infrared, or encrypted cloud-based protocols to control ESP32-based robot kits.
4. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page. You are advised to review this page periodically for any updates.
